दीपावली पर वास्तु शास्त्र को ध्यान में रखते हुए घर की साज सज्जा वैदिक विधि द्वारा करने से माँ लक्ष्मी की कृपा एवं संपूर्ण ईशवरीय शुभ फल का लाभ प्राप्त होता है तथा धन एवं ऐश्वर्य की उत्तरोत्तर वृद्धि होती है। वास्तु शास्त्र के अनुसार प्रत्येक अमावस्या के दिन पूरे घर की संपूर्ण सफाई करनी चाहिए जिसमे दीपावली में विशेष रूप से घर में बंद सभी  प्रकार के इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण एवं बेकार पड़ी वस्तुओं तथा घर में लगे जालों को हटाने एवं घर का रंग रोधन इत्यादि कराने से  घर में व्याप्त ज्यादातर नकारात्मक ऊर्जा कम होती है एवं सकारात्मक ऊर्जा का संचार होता है। दीपावली पर पूरे घर के फर्श को पानी में नमक डालकर साफ़ करना चाहिए एवं पूरे घर में गुग्गल की धूप देनी चाहिए।  मुख्य द्वार पर कौड़ी का तोरण, अशोक या आम के पत्ते का बंधनवार लगाने से माँ लक्ष्मी आकर्षित होती हैं एवं घर में सुख और समृद्धि आती है। मुख्य द्वार के बहार कुमकुम में केसर मिलाकर द्वार के दोनों तरफ स्वस्तिक बनाना चाहिए एवं मुख्या द्वार से पूजा कक्ष तक छोटे छोटे क़दमों के निशान फर्श पर बनाने से माँ लक्ष्मी का आगमन होता है. घर के उत्तर दिशा एवं ईशान में, लक्ष्मी पूजन के स्थान तथा प्रवेश द्वार व आंगन में रंगों के संयोजन के द्वारा धार्मिक चिह्न कमल, स्वास्तिक कलश, फूलपत्ती आदि अंकित कर रंगोली बनानी चाहिए, माँ लक्ष्मीजी रंगोली की ओर जल्दी आकर्षित होती हैं। अगर आपके घर का मुख्य द्वार नैऋत्य या किसी गलत दिशा में हो तो रुद्राक्ष का तोरण लगाना चाहिए एवं नौ इंच का ताम्बे का स्वस्तिक द्वार पर लगाना चाहिए। देसी फूल जैसे गेंदा, केले के स्तम्भ जैसे सात्त्विक चीजों से घर के  द्वार को  सजाएं, इससे लक्ष्मीजी का प्रवेश सहज होता है | नकली एवं कागज के फूलों से  सजावट न करें  | मोमबत्ती तमोगुणी होती है अतः मोमबत्ती के स्थान पर शुद्ध घी या तेल के मिट्टी के दिए जलाएं | बल्ब एवं लतर की  सजावट की अपेक्षा दीपों की लडी से घर को सजाएं, बिजली के बल्ब में देवत्व कोआकृष्ट  करने की क्षमता नहीं होती है एवं  दीप सात्त्विक होता है, अतः जहाँ तक सम्भव हो दीपावली सात्त्विक पद्धतिसे मनाएं | शुभकामना पत्र देने की अपेक्षा मुहंसे बोलकर शुभकामनाएं दें, उससे शुभकामनाएं फलित भी होती हैं और प्रेम बढता है | उपहार में सात्त्विक उपहार दें | लक्ष्मी गणेश पूजन के समय  भारतीय परंपरा अनुसार सात्त्विक  परिधान धारण करें  , पूजन में काला वस्त्र पहनकर न बैठें | 
पूजन विधि-
महालक्ष्मी नमस्तुभ्यम् नमस्तुभ्यम् सुरेश्वरि। हरिप्रिये नमस्तुभ्यम् नमस्तुभ्यम् दयानिधे॥
पद्मालये नमस्तुभ्यम् नमस्तुभ्यम् च सर्वदे। सर्वभूत हितार्थाय वसुसृष्टिं सदाकुरु॥

दीपावली के दिन अर्थात् कार्तिक अमावस्या को शुभ मुहूर्त में स्नान इत्यादि से शरीर शुद्ध करने के पश्चात् घर अथवा कमरे की उत्तर पूर्व दिशा (ईशान कोण) में पवित्र स्थान पर एक चौकी पर लाल वस्त्र बिछाकर भगवान गणेश एवम् मां लक्ष्मी की प्रतिमायें, चित्र तथा द्रव्यलक्ष्मी (सिक्के, धन इत्यादि) की स्थापना करें। तत्पश्चात् उत्तर दिशा की ओर मुख करके आचमन, पवित्री धारण, मार्जन, प्राणायाम कर निम्न मंत्र पढते हुये स्वयं के ऊपर जल छिडकें एवम् पूजन सामग्री को भी जल छिडक कर पवित्र करते समय निम्नलिखित श्लोक का उच्चारण करें

ॐ अपवित्र: पवित्रो वा सर्वावस्थाम् गतोSपि वा। य: स्मरेत् पुण्डरीकाक्षम् स: बाह्याभ्यंन्तर: शुचि:॥

इसके पश्चात आसन शुद्धि तथा स्वस्ति पाठ करते हुये गंगाजल, पुष्प, अक्षत व कुमकुम हाथ में लेकर पूजन का संकल्प लें। सर्वप्रथम वाम भागमें दीप प्रज्जवलित कर उसे पुष्प, अक्षत व कुमकुम से पूजित करें। सुपारी पर वस्त्र लपेटकर गणेश अम्बिका स्वरूप बनाकर, हाथ में पुष्प, अक्षत, जल लेकर श्री गणेश जी का ध्यान एवम् आह्वान निम्न मन्त्र द्वारा करें-

गजाननं भूतगणादिसेवितम् कपित्थ जम्बूफल चारु भक्षणं।
उमासुतं शोक विनाशकारकं नमामि विघ्नेश्वर पादपंकजम्॥

उपर्युक्त मंत्र पढने के पश्चात हाथ के पुष्प, अक्षत व जल श्री गणेश जी को समर्पित करें।
मां भगवतीके ध्यान व आह्वान हेतु हाथमें अक्षत, पुष्प व जल लेकर निम्न मंत्र सहित अर्पित करें-

नमोदेव्यै महादेव्यै शिवायै सततं नम: प्रकृत्यै भद्रायै नियत: प्रणता: स्मृताम्॥

तत्पश्चात  कलश पूजन, नवग्रह पूजन तथा षोडश मातृका पूजन हेतु कुमकुम, पुष्प व अक्षत क्रमानुसार निम्न मन्त्रों द्वारा अर्पित करें-

श्री वरुण देवतायै नम:।
श्री नवग्रह देवतायै नम:।
श्री षोडशमातृकाभ्याम् नम:।

तत्पश्चात् श्री गणेश एवम् मां अम्बिका का षोडशोपचार पूजन करें-

ॐ देवस्य त्वा सवितु: प्रसवेअश्विनो: बाहुभ्याम् पूषणो हस्ताभ्याम्।
यजु: एतानि पाद्यार्घ्याचमनीय स्नानीयपुनराचमनीयानि समर्पयामि।

श्री गणेशाम्बिकाभ्यां नम:

तत्पश्चात् दूध, दही, पंचामृत व जल से प्रतिमा स्नान कराके वस्त्र, आभूषण, चंदन, पुष्प, हल्दी, दूर्वा, माला, इत्र, कुमकुम आदि क्रमानुसार अर्पित करें। धूप व दीप दर्शाते हुये नैवेद्य, लौंग व इलायची चढायें।

श्री महालक्ष्मी नम:

श्री लक्ष्मी देवी के ध्यान हेतु सर्वप्रथम हाथ में पुष्प लेकर लक्ष्मीजी का ध्यान निम्न मंत्र से करें-

या सा पद्मासनास्था विपुलकटितटि पद्मपत्रायताक्षी।
गम्भीरावर्तनाभि स्तनभरनमिता शुभ्रवस्त्रोत्तरीया॥
या लक्ष्मी दिव्यरुपै: मणिगणखचितै: स्नापिता हेम कुम्भै:।
सा नित्यं पद्महस्ता मम वसतु गृहे सर्वमांगल्ययुक्ता॥

श्री लक्ष्मी जी के आह्वान हेतु उन्हें पुष्प चढ़ाकर निम्न मन्त्र पढें-

ॐ हिरण्यवर्ण्याम् हरिणीं सुवर्णरजतस्रजाम्। चंद्रां हिरण्यमयीं लक्ष्मी जातवेदो म आ वह॥

अब एक एक सामग्री अर्पित करते हुये मन्त्र पढें -

अक्षत, पुष्प-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, आसनार्थे अक्षतान पुष्पान् समर्पयामि।
चन्दन, जल-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, पाद्यार्थे चन्दनजलं समर्पयामि।
गंगा जल (अर्घ्य हेतु)-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, अर्घ्यार्थे गंगा जलं समर्पयामि।
गंगा जल (आचमन हेतु)-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, आचमनीयार्थे गंगा जलं समर्पयामि।
गंगा जल (स्नान हेतु)-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, स्नानार्थे गंगा जलं समर्पयामि।
पंचामृत-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, पंचामृत स्नानं समर्पयामि।
जल-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, शुद्धोदक स्नानं समर्पयामि।
वस्त्र-

वस्त्र (उपवस्त्र)-

ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, पुष्पं समर्पयामि।
पुष्पमाला-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, पुष्पमाल्यं समर्पयामि।
दूर्वा-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, दूर्वादलं समर्पयामि।
इत्र-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, सुगन्धित तैलं समर्पयामि।

तत्पश्चात् अंगपूजन हेतु हाथ में चंदन, अक्षत तथा पुष्प लेकर निम्नांकित प्रत्येक मन्त्र के पश्चात् थोड़ा-थोड़ा छोड़ते जायें-

ॐ चपलायै नम: पादौ पूजयामि,
ॐ चंचलाय नम: जानुनी पूजयामि,
ॐ कमलायै नम: कटिं पूजयामि,
ॐ कात्यायिन्यै नम: नाभिं पूजयामि,
ॐ जगन्मात्रै नम: जठरं पूजयामि,
ॐ विश्ववल्लभायै नम: वक्षस्थल पूजयामि,
ॐ कमलवासिन्यै नम: भुजौ पूजयामि,
ॐ पद्मकमलायै नम: मुखं पूजयामि,
ॐ कमलपत्रास्थै नम: नेत्रत्रयं पूजयामि,
ॐ श्रियै नम: शिर: पूजयामि।

इसके पश्चात श्री अष्टलक्ष्मी के पूजन हेतु मन्त्र पढते हुये पुष्प तथा अक्षत चढाते जायें-

ॐ आद्यलक्ष्मयै नम:
ॐ विद्यालक्ष्मयै नम:
ॐ सौभाग्यलक्ष्मयै नम:
ॐ अमृतलक्ष्मयै नम:

अब निम्न सामग्री अर्पित करते हुये मंत्र पढें -
धूप-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: धूपं आघ्रापयामि।
दीप-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: दीपं दर्शयामि।
नैवेद्य-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: नैवेद्य दर्शयामि।
ॠतुफल-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: ॠतुफलं समर्पयामि
ताम्बूल इत्यादि-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: ताम्बूल वीटिकां समर्पयामि।
दक्षिणा-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: द्रव्यदक्षिणां समर्पयामि।

तत्पश्चात् प्रदक्षिणा कर,  लक्ष्मीजी की प्रार्थना करें-

भवानीत्वं महालक्ष्मी: सर्वकामप्रदायनी। सुपूजिता प्रसन्नास्थान्महालक्ष्म्यै नमोस्तुते॥

अन्त में लक्ष्मीजी की आरती करें।

दीपावली पर वास्तु शास्त्र को ध्यान में रखते हुए घर की साज सज्जा वैदिक विधि द्वारा करने से माँ लक्ष्मी की कृपा एवं संपूर्ण ईशवरीय शुभ फल का लाभ प्राप्त होता है तथा धन एवं ऐश्वर्य की उत्तरोत्तर वृद्धि होती है। वास्तु शास्त्र के अनुसार प्रत्येक अमावस्या के दिन पूरे घर की संपूर्ण सफाई करनी चाहिए जिसमे दीपावली में विशेष रूप से घर में बंद सभी  प्रकार के इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण एवं बेकार पड़ी वस्तुओं तथा घर में लगे जालों को हटाने एवं घर का रंग रोधन इत्यादि कराने से  घर में व्याप्त ज्यादातर नकारात्मक ऊर्जा कम होती है एवं सकारात्मक ऊर्जा का संचार होता है। दीपावली पर पूरे घर के फर्श को पानी में नमक डालकर साफ़ करना चाहिए एवं पूरे घर में गुग्गल की धूप देनी चाहिए।  मुख्य द्वार पर कौड़ी का तोरण, अशोक या आम के पत्ते का बंधनवार लगाने से माँ लक्ष्मी आकर्षित होती हैं एवं घर में सुख और समृद्धि आती है। मुख्य द्वार के बहार कुमकुम में केसर मिलाकर द्वार के दोनों तरफ स्वस्तिक बनाना चाहिए एवं मुख्या द्वार से पूजा कक्ष तक छोटे छोटे क़दमों के निशान फर्श पर बनाने से माँ लक्ष्मी का आगमन होता है. घर के उत्तर दिशा एवं ईशान में, लक्ष्मी पूजन के स्थान तथा प्रवेश द्वार व आंगन में रंगों के संयोजन के द्वारा धार्मिक चिह्न कमल, स्वास्तिक कलश, फूलपत्ती आदि अंकित कर रंगोली बनानी चाहिए, माँ लक्ष्मीजी रंगोली की ओर जल्दी आकर्षित होती हैं। अगर आपके घर का मुख्य द्वार नैऋत्य या किसी गलत दिशा में हो तो रुद्राक्ष का तोरण लगाना चाहिए एवं नौ इंच का ताम्बे का स्वस्तिक द्वार पर लगाना चाहिए। देसी फूल जैसे गेंदा, केले के स्तम्भ जैसे सात्त्विक चीजों से घर के  द्वार को  सजाएं, इससे लक्ष्मीजी का प्रवेश सहज होता है | नकली एवं कागज के फूलों से  सजावट न करें  | मोमबत्ती तमोगुणी होती है अतः मोमबत्ती के स्थान पर शुद्ध घी या तेल के मिट्टी के दिए जलाएं | बल्ब एवं लतर की  सजावट की अपेक्षा दीपों की लडी से घर को सजाएं, बिजली के बल्ब में देवत्व कोआकृष्ट  करने की क्षमता नहीं होती है एवं  दीप सात्त्विक होता है, अतः जहाँ तक सम्भव हो दीपावली सात्त्विक पद्धतिसे मनाएं | शुभकामना पत्र देने की अपेक्षा मुहंसे बोलकर शुभकामनाएं दें, उससे शुभकामनाएं फलित भी होती हैं और प्रेम बढता है | उपहार में सात्त्विक उपहार दें | लक्ष्मी गणेश पूजन के समय  भारतीय परंपरा अनुसार सात्त्विक  परिधान धारण करें  , पूजन में काला वस्त्र पहनकर न बैठें | 
पूजन विधि-
महालक्ष्मी नमस्तुभ्यम् नमस्तुभ्यम् सुरेश्वरि। हरिप्रिये नमस्तुभ्यम् नमस्तुभ्यम् दयानिधे॥
पद्मालये नमस्तुभ्यम् नमस्तुभ्यम् च सर्वदे। सर्वभूत हितार्थाय वसुसृष्टिं सदाकुरु॥

दीपावली के दिन अर्थात् कार्तिक अमावस्या को शुभ मुहूर्त में स्नान इत्यादि से शरीर शुद्ध करने के पश्चात् घर अथवा कमरे की उत्तर पूर्व दिशा (ईशान कोण) में पवित्र स्थान पर एक चौकी पर लाल वस्त्र बिछाकर भगवान गणेश एवम् मां लक्ष्मी की प्रतिमायें, चित्र तथा द्रव्यलक्ष्मी (सिक्के, धन इत्यादि) की स्थापना करें। तत्पश्चात् उत्तर दिशा की ओर मुख करके आचमन, पवित्री धारण, मार्जन, प्राणायाम कर निम्न मंत्र पढते हुये स्वयं के ऊपर जल छिडकें एवम् पूजन सामग्री को भी जल छिडक कर पवित्र करते समय निम्नलिखित श्लोक का उच्चारण करें

ॐ अपवित्र: पवित्रो वा सर्वावस्थाम् गतोSपि वा। य: स्मरेत् पुण्डरीकाक्षम् स: बाह्याभ्यंन्तर: शुचि:॥

इसके पश्चात आसन शुद्धि तथा स्वस्ति पाठ करते हुये गंगाजल, पुष्प, अक्षत व कुमकुम हाथ में लेकर पूजन का संकल्प लें। सर्वप्रथम वाम भागमें दीप प्रज्जवलित कर उसे पुष्प, अक्षत व कुमकुम से पूजित करें। सुपारी पर वस्त्र लपेटकर गणेश अम्बिका स्वरूप बनाकर, हाथ में पुष्प, अक्षत, जल लेकर श्री गणेश जी का ध्यान एवम् आह्वान निम्न मन्त्र द्वारा करें-

गजाननं भूतगणादिसेवितम् कपित्थ जम्बूफल चारु भक्षणं।
उमासुतं शोक विनाशकारकं नमामि विघ्नेश्वर पादपंकजम्॥

उपर्युक्त मंत्र पढने के पश्चात हाथ के पुष्प, अक्षत व जल श्री गणेश जी को समर्पित करें।
मां भगवतीके ध्यान व आह्वान हेतु हाथमें अक्षत, पुष्प व जल लेकर निम्न मंत्र सहित अर्पित करें-

नमोदेव्यै महादेव्यै शिवायै सततं नम: प्रकृत्यै भद्रायै नियत: प्रणता: स्मृताम्॥

तत्पश्चात  कलश पूजन, नवग्रह पूजन तथा षोडश मातृका पूजन हेतु कुमकुम, पुष्प व अक्षत क्रमानुसार निम्न मन्त्रों द्वारा अर्पित करें-

श्री वरुण देवतायै नम:।
श्री नवग्रह देवतायै नम:।
श्री षोडशमातृकाभ्याम् नम:।

तत्पश्चात् श्री गणेश एवम् मां अम्बिका का षोडशोपचार पूजन करें-

ॐ देवस्य त्वा सवितु: प्रसवेअश्विनो: बाहुभ्याम् पूषणो हस्ताभ्याम्।
यजु: एतानि पाद्यार्घ्याचमनीय स्नानीयपुनराचमनीयानि समर्पयामि।

श्री गणेशाम्बिकाभ्यां नम:

तत्पश्चात् दूध, दही, पंचामृत व जल से प्रतिमा स्नान कराके वस्त्र, आभूषण, चंदन, पुष्प, हल्दी, दूर्वा, माला, इत्र, कुमकुम आदि क्रमानुसार अर्पित करें। धूप व दीप दर्शाते हुये नैवेद्य, लौंग व इलायची चढायें।

श्री महालक्ष्मी नम:

श्री लक्ष्मी देवी के ध्यान हेतु सर्वप्रथम हाथ में पुष्प लेकर लक्ष्मीजी का ध्यान निम्न मंत्र से करें-

या सा पद्मासनास्था विपुलकटितटि पद्मपत्रायताक्षी।
गम्भीरावर्तनाभि स्तनभरनमिता शुभ्रवस्त्रोत्तरीया॥
या लक्ष्मी दिव्यरुपै: मणिगणखचितै: स्नापिता हेम कुम्भै:।
सा नित्यं पद्महस्ता मम वसतु गृहे सर्वमांगल्ययुक्ता॥

श्री लक्ष्मी जी के आह्वान हेतु उन्हें पुष्प चढ़ाकर निम्न मन्त्र पढें-

ॐ हिरण्यवर्ण्याम् हरिणीं सुवर्णरजतस्रजाम्। चंद्रां हिरण्यमयीं लक्ष्मी जातवेदो म आ वह॥

अब एक एक सामग्री अर्पित करते हुये मन्त्र पढें -

अक्षत, पुष्प-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, आसनार्थे अक्षतान पुष्पान् समर्पयामि।
चन्दन, जल-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, पाद्यार्थे चन्दनजलं समर्पयामि।
गंगा जल (अर्घ्य हेतु)-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, अर्घ्यार्थे गंगा जलं समर्पयामि।
गंगा जल (आचमन हेतु)-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, आचमनीयार्थे गंगा जलं समर्पयामि।
गंगा जल (स्नान हेतु)-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, स्नानार्थे गंगा जलं समर्पयामि।
पंचामृत-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, पंचामृत स्नानं समर्पयामि।
जल-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, शुद्धोदक स्नानं समर्पयामि।
वस्त्र-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, वस्त्रं समर्पयामि।
वस्त्र (उपवस्त्र)-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, उपवस्त्रं समर्पयामि।
माला-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, आभूषणं समर्पयामि।
गंध -
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, गंधं समर्पयामि।
चंदन-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, चंदनं समर्पयामि।
सिन्दूर-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, सिन्दूरं समर्पयामि।
कुमकुम-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, कुंकमं समर्पयामि।
अक्षत-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, अक्षतान् समर्पयामि।
पुष्प-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, पुष्पं समर्पयामि।
पुष्पमाला-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, पुष्पमाल्यं समर्पयामि।
दूर्वा-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, दूर्वादलं समर्पयामि।
इत्र-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम:, सुगन्धित तैलं समर्पयामि।

तत्पश्चात् अंगपूजन हेतु हाथ में चंदन, अक्षत तथा पुष्प लेकर निम्नांकित प्रत्येक मन्त्र के पश्चात् थोड़ा-थोड़ा छोड़ते जायें-

ॐ चपलायै नम: पादौ पूजयामि,
ॐ चंचलाय नम: जानुनी पूजयामि,
ॐ कमलायै नम: कटिं पूजयामि,
ॐ कात्यायिन्यै नम: नाभिं पूजयामि,
ॐ जगन्मात्रै नम: जठरं पूजयामि,
ॐ विश्ववल्लभायै नम: वक्षस्थल पूजयामि,
ॐ कमलवासिन्यै नम: भुजौ पूजयामि,
ॐ पद्मकमलायै नम: मुखं पूजयामि,
ॐ कमलपत्रास्थै नम: नेत्रत्रयं पूजयामि,
ॐ श्रियै नम: शिर: पूजयामि।

इसके पश्चात श्री अष्टलक्ष्मी के पूजन हेतु मन्त्र पढते हुये पुष्प तथा अक्षत चढाते जायें-

ॐ आद्यलक्ष्मयै नम:
ॐ विद्यालक्ष्मयै नम:
ॐ सौभाग्यलक्ष्मयै नम:
ॐ अमृतलक्ष्मयै नम:
ॐ कामलक्ष्मयै नम:
ॐ सत्यलक्ष्मयै नम:
ॐ भोगलक्ष्मयै नम:
ॐ योगलक्ष्मयै नम:॥

अब निम्न सामग्री अर्पित करते हुये मंत्र पढें -
धूप-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: धूपं आघ्रापयामि।
दीप-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: दीपं दर्शयामि।
नैवेद्य-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: नैवेद्य दर्शयामि।
ॠतुफल-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: ॠतुफलं समर्पयामि
ताम्बूल इत्यादि-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: ताम्बूल वीटिकां समर्पयामि।
दक्षिणा-
ॐ श्री महालक्ष्म्यै नम: द्रव्यदक्षिणां समर्पयामि।

तत्पश्चात् प्रदक्षिणा कर,  लक्ष्मीजी की प्रार्थना करें-

भवानीत्वं महालक्ष्मी: सर्वकामप्रदायनी। सुपूजिता प्रसन्नास्थान्महालक्ष्म्यै नमोस्तुते॥

अन्त में लक्ष्मीजी की आरती करें।

ॐ जय लक्ष्मी माता, मैया जय लक्ष्मी माता

तुमको निस दिन सेवत, मैयाजीको निस दिन सेवत

हर विष्णु विधाता

ॐ जय लक्ष्मी माता ...

उमा रमा ब्रह्माणी, तुम ही जग माता

ॐ मैया तुम ही जग माता

सूर्य चन्द्र मां ध्यावत, नारद ऋषि गाता

ॐ जय लक्ष्मी माता ...

दुर्गा रूप निरन्जनि, सुख सम्पति दाता

ओ मैया सुख सम्पति दाता .

जो कोई तुम को ध्यावत, ऋद्धि सिद्धि धन पाता

ॐ जय लक्ष्मी माता ..

तुम पाताल निवासिनि, तुम ही शुभ दाता

ओ मैया तुम ही शुभ दाता

कर्म प्रभाव प्रकाशिनि, भव निधि की दाता
